Tiger Head Group staff raised a fund of over RMB400,000 in donation to the earthquake-striken areas
 
  
    The disastrous earthquake that broke out in Sichuan Wenchuan district shocks all Chinese people in deep grief. The debris, the injured bodies, the crying faces of those who have lost their families keep us in greatest anxiety. For the past seven days after the earthquake, numerous Chinese people focus their attention on the earthquake-striken areas with tears in eyes, numerous Chinese people stick out their hands of relief and numerous Chinese people join to combat the earthquake as volunteers. Now and here, the powerful national cohesion of the Chinese people strikes every one of us.
 
    Our company motivated the staff to donate to the earthquake-striken areas, showing our love and sympathy for people over there,in hope that we can get through the difficult moment hand in hand . 10:00am on May 13, the company subscribed 10,000 pieces of D size batteries and 8000 sets of LED flashlights (including batteries) to the earthquake-striken areas. On May 14, the company subscribed another 60,000 pieces of D size batteries and organized the first donation of staff, which raised a fund a RMB 79,130.10. On May 16, the company organized the second donation, raising a fund of RMB 109,311.20. On the morning of May 19, the company made two decisions: holding a group condolence of all stall of the company to victims of the earthquake and motivating them to act as one-day volunteer by donating their one day¡¯s salary in the third donation after the condolence. The third donation on the afternoon of May 19 raised a fund of RMB 216,460. By the end of May 19, the staff of Tiger Head Group had totally raised of fund of RMB 404,901.30 in the three donations.
